How Is The “Arena-Effect” Affecting You?  Capitalize On Your Opportunity Now.

If you live in the greater Sacramento-area you have probably heard the term “arena-effect” a thousand times in the past year.  While attending a recent Association of Commercial Real Estate (ACRE) event, I heard it at least ten times in an hour.  And it is truly happening.

And here comes Amazon.

Once unaffectionately called a “cow-town” by NBA legend Charles Barkley because it was “boring”, Sacramento’s downtown is being revitalized by the building of the Golden One Center.  Sacramento now boasts incredible entertainment options and restaurants.  We are piquing the interest of businesses from the Bay Area and Southern California. In fact, Patrick Rishe wrote in Forbes magazine, “My money is on this project ultimately creating total economic value (both tangible visitor dollars and intangible wellness income for local citizens) that significantly exceeds the public’s $255 million contribution”, and from the looks of things, he’s right.  Not only in the area immediately surrounding the arena, but throughout the region, the excitement is spreading.  And now, with the announcement of Amazon’s 855,000 square foot fulfillment center opening in 2018 near the Sacramento airport, even more opportunity is headed our way.

How will you take advantage of it?  If you own investment property in the greater-Sacramento area, you should be considering how to use the excitement to your benefit.  To ensure that you are receiving the maximum return on your investment, call Laverty Chacón today, at (916) 722-0333, or email me at ttaylor@lavertychacon.com.
